Capture of the Colour

I have the privilege to accept my blogger friend Arti { My Yatra Diary } ‘s  invitation to participate in  “Capture The Colour “ Photography Contest organized by Travel Supermarket . I liked the concept of “Capturing “certain colours in individuality by lens. At once I got down to thinking to choose a theme for the five chosen colours. The first thought that came to my mind was Assam, the place where I belong. Quickly I rampaged through by assorted collection and here is what I found……..

BLUE 

 
“ Mirror , mirror on the water , are we the fairest of all? “ The clouds looking down at their refection on the still waters of Deepor Beel (Lake) – outskirts of Guwahati City.

GREEN

A green carpet of Assam reflects the green scenario having evergreen beauty and freshness of Tea. A picture taken on a visit to Dhekiajuli Tea Estate 
in Sanitpur District, Assam, the land of Tea.

YELLOW

The Yellow flowers of mustard fields of Lengtisinga near my home town Abhayapuri which projects the beautiful sight of the cultivated land. While taking a walk I captured “yellow “at its best!! 

WHITE

The sheer purity of whiteness a peace in the awesome serenity of the Balaji Temple ( located near Betkuchi ,Guwahati ) at sun-drop. Just gaze at it, you can literally feel the calmness.

RED

Vision of red with all its hues at sunset over the mighty river Brahmaputra. A breath-taking view caught at just the right time or I would have lost the moment………… Snap taken from Santipur, Guwahati.
For all those who still need to know the Brahmaputra is the Holy river in Assam worshipped by the people reverently.

The Color’s Magazine Contest is on…

As per the contest organized by “The Colors Magazine”, I would like to join the event as one of the contestant. However, my subject that is to be described is quite different from others to which I hope you will like it.
My post would be from my nephew’s view points on the subject of photography:
It was the post where Kuldeep has captured some sensational photographs of the mosses, green crop, village road, farmer, temple and vivid clouds. Inspired by his innovatively shots, I wish him all success in life ad great future ahead.
