8th Digital Exhibition of Image AnimationGuwahati

On Sunday ( 14th September )  I visited 8th " Digital Exhibition" an Annual Exhibition of  Image Animation & Graphic Institute ( Guwahati Center ) held at Gauhati Artists' Guild, Chandmari, Guwahati, Assam.
In the exhibition works of students of Image Institute have been displayed. The exhibition will be there upto 27th September 2014

Train Heritage

 A Steam Locomotive Engine YG 4119 - NORTH EAST QUEEN in Guwahati Railway Station Campus

" The first train in India was hauled by three steam Locomotives Sindh, Sultan and Sahib on 16th April, 1853 between Bori-Bunder and Thane. The glorious era of steam locos ended in late 1990’s. This loco YG 4119 is a Metre Gauge Goods Steam Loco manufactured in the year 1956. The loco was homed in Badarpur shed of Lumding Division, N.F. Railway and retired in 1997 after 41 years.
