On 21st March 2026, I set out to capture the spirit of Eid al-Fitr Namaz (prayer) celebrations, 
alongside my fellow photography enthusiasts from Assam Photographic Arts 
at the Guwahati Idgah field. Here’s a glimpse from Machkhowa field.

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan- an occasion celebrated across the world with
 prayers, warm family gatherings, festive feasts, and acts of charity.

Swahid Smarak Khetra

"Swahid Pranamu Tumak" is an Assamese phrase 
meaning "I bow to you, O Martyr"

Swahid Smarak Khetra stands as a powerful tribute to the martyrs of the
 Assam Agitation (1979–1985). 
It honors the 860 courageous individuals who laid down their lives in defense of Assam’s identity, language, and culture. The memorial complex preserves their legacy through carefully crafted busts and a gallery showcasing historic photographs from the Assam Movement, offering visitors a moving glimpse into this significant chapter of history.

Kattha Katte

Filter coffee, Tomato rice, Vada, Dosa and Idli at Kattha Katte

Recently visit "Kattha Katte" with my friends.
 If you love South Indian flavors, Kattha Katte is definitely worth a visit. The place has a lovely vibe and serves some really comforting food. I tried the Idli -soft, fresh, and perfectly satisfying. My friends went for the Dosa, Vada, Tomato rice, and their famous filter coffee. Every dish felt authentic and full of flavor, but the real star of the table was the filter coffee. Rich, aromatic, and perfectly brewed - easily one of the best we’ve had. A great spot to enjoy classic South Indian comfort foods.

 * I had the chance to watch Village Rockstars 2 at Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival ( BVFF ) 2024. 
What an incredible film! Beautiful storytelling,  deeply moving performances. 
Bhanita Das aka Dhunu is absolutely brilliant. 
Huge kudos to Rima Das for creating such an honest, heartfelt, and inspiring film. 
Truly a wonderful cinematic experience.
I would love to experience it again on the big screen.
