Recently visited Guwahati Ropeway Terminal. Guwahati passenger ropeway connecting the northern and southern banks of the Brahmaputra River. The lower terminal of the ropeway is at Kachari Ghat in Panbazar and
the upper terminal at Rajadwar village behind the Dol Govinda Temple
in North Guwahati.The ropeway was inaugurated on 24 August 2020.

Taking a cable car on ropeway across the river must be fun, wonderful views. Is the ropeway for tourist or for a way for people to commute? Great photos. wishes for a happy and healthy New year to you and your family! Take care, have a happy week ahead.

Interesting... I can only make out one car though. That's a big investment to transport, at most, about 20 peeps! I am going to look it up now. YAM xx
