Glimpses of 33rd Guwahati Book Fair , organised by Publication Board of Assam at Assam Engineering Institute Playground Chandmari, Guwahati, Assam , The Guwahati Book Fair was held from 30th December 2020 to 10th January 2021. Bought Assamese novels ‘Life of a Driver -Cabiner Ipare by Rupam Dutta (one of the best selling book of 33rd Guwahati Book Fair ), "Mare Asom Jiye Kun" by Rita Choudhury, "Akhan Ghar Aru Ajak Jonaki Parua" ( Assamese translation of Aruni Kashyap's novel The House with a Thousand Stories ) by Khammoun Phukan.

It is wonderful, in some ways, that it went ahead... but I do wonder at the wisdom of it. Over here all the festivals have been worked online (very successfully) and I bought books still! YAM xx
