Statue of Asom Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika


A statue of the famous singer,Asom Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, has been inaugurated at Dighalipukhuri, Guwahati on 14th February,2009. Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, himself, has inaugurated his own statue. The statue has been made by the famous sculptor, Mr. Biren Sinha, with the initiative of the All Assam Students Union (AASU) to show respect for the people and the culture of Assam.
