Lovely doves. They are so gentle and mild and well-mannered in my area. We have quite a few, and in the winter it will almost seem I have my own little flock when I throw out the bird seed. I've noticed that when we travel, these birds are usually visible, but the color will be a bit more vibrant in areas where the weather is hot.
