20th March is celebrated each year as World Sparrow Day. The day was created with an aim to raise awareness about the house sparrows.Save Sparrows Save Nature.
I've never heard of World Sparrow Day before. I have a song sparrow that has been overwintering at our cabin in BC. It has been nice because the other birds don't return until April. - Margy
