On 21st March 2026, I set out to capture the spirit of Eid al-Fitr Namaz (prayer) celebrations, alongside my fellow photography enthusiasts from Assam Photographic Arts
at the Guwahati Idgah field. Here’s a glimpse from Machkhowa field.
Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan- an occasion celebrated across the world with
prayers, warm family gatherings, festive feasts, and acts of charity.
Location: Guwahati Idgah, Machkhowa, Guwahati, Assam, India

Nice series
I am reminded of the "Life of Pi" by your photos. Why can't we all live in peace and revel in each others diversity, understand each other's view point and respect different religions, beliefs and culture? What a pity to create wars simply because we cannot see that the things we share are far greater in number than the things that separate us... Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.
@Rob Siemann Thank you so much :)
